Answer: haemoglobin is one of the most important part of blood(red blood cells ) . It is a protein whose main function is to carry oxygen .
It has the affinity to form oxyhaemoglobin bond with oxygen at lungs and this bonds gets dissociated at tissues .
So why is it red ? It's because it has a protein called haem which gives red colour to it
