Hypotonic solution - If the external solution has lower concentration than the cell , then it is called hypotonic solution.
Hypertonic Solution- If the external solution has higher concentration than the cell , then it is called hypertonic solution.
Isotonic Solution-If the external solution has a similar concentration as the cell , then it is called isotonic solution.
