Immunisation is a specific way to make someone immune and prevent the spreading of diseases. It provides immunity or resistance to individuals through the administration of vaccines against diseases .

Vaccination is carried out by injecting weak form of microbes to sensitise the body of an individual .

The vaccine stimulate the immune system in such a way that it not only stimulates the production of antibodies ( proteins that fight off infection ) but also generates a large number of memory cells against diseases . Vaccines do not actually cause disease but activate the immune system so that it remembers the pathogen specifically .
