The ability of the body to prevent the infection or to fight with disease-causing microorganisms called the immunity. There are two types of immunity;
1. Innate immunity: This type of immunity present in our body since birth and these are the non-specific types of defense.
2. Acquired immunity: This type of immunity does not present since birth. It is acquired and these are pathogen-specific.
