Intial speed :- the speed at which the body starts moving .... like, in time 0 second body intial speed (u) =0 ... if in the question there is given that a ball thrown up and its intial speed is 10 m/s in time 2 sec then u is 10 m/s........

Average speed :- total distance covered by total time taken......
