Isobars are atoms of different chemical elements that have the same number of nucleons. Correspondingly, isobars differ in atomic number but have the same mass number. 

In combination reactions, two or more substances combine to form a new compound. Only one product is obtained in such reactions. Thereactants in such reactions can be elements as well as compounds. ForExample, Calcium oxide reacts with water to produce calcium hydroxide.
