(2) WAN - It stands for wide area network, means networking of a town or city.

(3) WAN :- It stands for Wide area network, means networking of large areas like state over state.

It covers the area between one metropolitan city to another.

• WAN: - WAN stands for Wide Area Network. Wide Area Network (WAN) is a data network, usually used for connecting computers, that spans a wide geographical area. WANs can be used to connect cities, states, or even countries. WANs also transmit data at slower speeds than LANs.
