Least count = 1MSD- 1VSD

let one division on main scale = x

Let y division on vernier scale coincide with z division on main scale

So 1 division on vernier scale coincide

with z/y division on main scale

So LC = 1MSD - 1VSD

= x - (z/y)x

= x( 1 - z/y)

In this way u can calculatw

aliasharma93: and how can we determine it ?
sydnor23: uh me or him
aliasharma93: tell me plss
sydnor23: me?
aliasharma93: @dhruv15819 can u tell me ?
Anonymous: 1 division of main scale= 0.1 cm
aliasharma93: is this enough to give the answer
aliasharma93: or not ? ?
