a margin can be accesed by going into the page layout and then clicking on margins.
types of margins in microsoft office word:
- normal- it has measures as following: (top=2.54 cm),(bottom=2.54 cm),(left=2.54 cm),(right=2.54 cm).
- narrow- it has measures as following: (top=1.27 cm),(bottom=1.27 cm),(left=1.27 cm)(right=1.27 cm).
- moderate- it has measures as following: (top=2.54 cm),(bottom=2.54 cm),(left=1.91 cm),(right=1.91 cm).
- wide- it has measures as following: (top=2.54 cm),(bottom=2.54 cm),(left = 5.08 cm),(right=5.08 cm)
- mirrored- the margin gets mirrored in the following case. it has measures as following: (top=2.54 cm),(bottom=2.54 cm),(inside=3.18 cm),(outside=2.54 cm).
not only these, we can set up our own measures for margins by going to custom margins.
