here is your answer
MATTER
definition
anything in universe which has mass and occupies space ( volume ) and found in any one state of matter: solid, liquid or gas is called matter
Properties of matter
1)Matter is made up of particles
2) the particles of matter are very small - they are beyond our imagination
3) particles of matter have space between them
4) particles of matter move continuosly in liquid and gases
5) matter exists in three states i.e., solid liquid and gas
6) the force of attraction between the particles are maximum in solid intermediate in liquids and minimum in gases
7) the particles are arranged orderly in the case of solids while particle move randomly in gases

Hi frnd.......
Matter : Anything present in the universe that has mass and occupies a certain space and exist in any one state-- solid or liquid or gas
The properties exibhited by matter are as follow---
→Matter mainly exist in three states -- solid, liquid, gas
→Matter is made up of smalL particles (atoms)
→These particles of matter have space b/w them which differs from one state to the other.the space in solid is negligible, in liquid it is intermediate and in gas it is maximum.
→There is a certain type of force (commonly called the force of attraction) b/w the partcles which differs from one state to the other. the force in solid is maximum, in liquid it is intermediate and in gas it is neglgible
→The motion of particles in solid is fixed and it is continuous in case of liquid and gas
→When the temperature rises, the motion of particles increases due to the increase in the rate of kinetic energy.
→The properties of matter changes due to the change in state .
