Answer:

Anything that occupies space and has a definite mass is called matter .Most of the times matter can be seen and touched except gases.

The three main forms of matter are solids(rocks,table,etc ),liquids (water ,milk,etc)and gases(oxygen,methane ,etc.)

But there is a fourth form of matter too,called as plasma. It contains highly energised particles .It forms because of very high temperature, which can be reached in laboratories for experiments.

Another fifth form of matter is called Bose-Einstein Condensate.
