Answer:

The mean (average) of a data set is found by adding all numbers in the data set and then dividing by the number of values in the set. The median is the middle value when a data set is ordered from least to greatest. The mode is the number that occurs most often in a data set.

Answer:

The median is the middle number of a given data after arranging it in ascending order.

Ex = 1,4,6,3,9,5,2

= arranging the given data in ascending order = 1,2,3,4,5,6,9

4 is the middle number therefore 4 will be the median

Mode is the value that occurs the most often in a data set.

Ex = 1,4,6,3,9,5,2

mode = sum of observations/no. of observations

= 1+4+6+3+9+5+2+1/7

= 35/7 = 5
