Meristematic tissues are the tissues which have the ability to reproduce. They lack vacuole. They are divided into 3 types.
Apical meristem-these are found at the growing tips of roots and stems. They increase the height of plant.
Lateral meristem- these are found at the stem they increase the girth of the plant.
Intercalary meristem- these are found at the internodes and help in increasing the length of the internodes
