While metals are good conductors of electricity and heat, non-metals are poor conductors. Unlike non-metals, metals are ductile, which means they can be stretched into wires. Another difference between metals and non-metals, is that the former has a metallic luster, while the other does not.

METALS-a type of solid substance that is usually hard and shiny and that heat and electricity can travel through.also they are ductile ,malleable and sonorous.

NON METAL-a substance which is not a metal is called non metal .usually they are non ferrous.and are present in almost 3 states of matter that is solid ,liquid and gas
