Molecular mass of a substance is defined as the sum of the atomic masses of all the atoms present in the molecule of the substance.
Eg: Molecular mass of H2O (water)
Atomic mass of hydrogen atom is 1u and atomic mass of oxygen is 16u.
Therefore, molecular mass of H2O
= 1×2+16×1
= 18u
Hope it helps you!
