Monsoon can be described as a seasonal change in the direction of the wind.

Monsoon

  • A seasonal reversing alternation which occurs in the direction of the existing winds is termed as a monsoon.
  • It is the results of a monsoon that unexpected rain can occur in summers and a dry weather can occur in winters.

Break in a monsoon

  • Break in a monsoon occurs when a dry spell occurs where there is no rainfall.
  • The monsoon rain occurs for a few days and a break is caused in between. This break period is referred to as the break in monsoon.

Monsoon rains occur for few days continuously and take a break for few days. So monsoon have a dry spell between wet spells. This dry spell where there is no rainfall is called monsoon break.
