MSF Price stands for Marginal Standing Facility .

DEFINITION :

MSF price is the rate at which banks take money from RBI ( Reserve Bank of India ) . This is a new credit policy and a new Window facility which started from May 2011.

The importance of the MSF is that banks can easily borrow money from central bank in case of financial or any other emergencies without government securities.
