Multiplication is actually the sum which is repeating so we use a technique called multiplication .
For e.g. 2 + 2 +2 + 2 +2 +2 +2 +2 = 16
we can write it 2 x 8 = 16

Hii friend,

Multiplication is nothing but repeated addition. Here more than two numbers are joined for a product.
For example:
=> 2 + 2 + 2 = 6
=> 2 × 3 = 6

Now,

2 × 5 = 10

Above, 2 and 5 are the factors of 10, and 10 is the product of the 2 factors.
