Myopia is the defect in the eye which causes the far point of the eye to reduce from infinity but near point remains same. The person can't see clearly far objecta.
Hypermetropia is the defect in the eye due to which a person can't see nearly placed object clearly. It causes the near point of the eye to receed away from the eye but far point remains same
