Nasal passage or nasal cavity is a channel or passage for airflow through nose. It is lined by mucous membrane and possess tiny hairs which prevent entry of dust, bacteria and other substances into the lungs.

Nasal cavity are two chambers which are present above the buccal cavity and are separated by the pallet .
They are covered by pseudo-stratified epithelium tissue which has mucous glands.
This region functions as air conditioner,it changes temperature and moisture of the incoming air.
