Minister for Environment and Forests is the chairman of the NTCA.
The NTCA consists of eight experts including some tribal persons, three Members of Parliament, Inspector General of Forests (of India) and the head of the project Tiger. They take care of Tiger population and Tiger sanctuaries by reviewing the status and passing their decisions at the highest level.

NTCA was started by the prime minister of India in 2005 in December. The main purpose of the NTCA is to save the tigers from the Hunting and injured by people. Though, Tigers are very important to this world according to the wildlife.
The number of the tigers in India is reducing day by day. By considering this, India started NTCA. NTCA have total 8 experts. This experts are from Tribal areas and some from Modern areas too.
Project tiger was launched in 1973 and by considering this project, Indian started NTCA organisation. It have the all previlages access of wildlife. The chairman of NTCA is the Environment Minister.
Every state government has the inform about the No. of tigers and its reserves in their states. Because of which, NTCA mange the tigers of the all parts of India. NTCA also do regulation of the tourism activities in the cities.
NTCA conducts a meeting every 2 Months. In this meeting, The all things about the tigers and it's saving are considered. Because of which, There is a big help in the tiger saving also.
The Tiger Conservation Plans held by the Government of states have to get approved from NTCA first. Because of which, some minor mistakes can be avoided. The national tiger conservation authority is very important for the all India and it's citizens.
The tigers in the Forest's of india can't be touched by national tiger conservation authority even.. It means, The tigers are very important for us and our humanity. NTCA try various methods and systems to avoid tigers hunting and save tigers.
