• These are formed by polymerization of a few molecules of monosaccharides.
• Oligosacchrides consisting of two monosacchride molecules are called DISACCHARIDES. E.g. Sucrose,lactose and maltose.
• Sucrose is a non-reducing sugar while lactose and maltose are reducing sugars.
