Overnutrition is the form of malnutrition that happens when you take in more of a nutrient (or nutrients) than you need every day.  Overnutrition can develop into obesity, which increases the risk of serious health conditions, including cardiovascular disease, hypertension, cancer, and type-2 diabetes.
