parthenogenesis is the step wise development of both male and female reproductive organs in the same host. the animal carries both male and female reproductive organs but they are not developed simultaneously but sequensly one after one.
eg. annelida

Parthenogenesis is the process of development of egg/ovum into offspring without fertilization.
It is common in Rotifers.
