\huge\bold{Answer:}

The method of pasteurization involves the process of heating followed by quick cooling. This method was discovered by Louis Pasteur, so it is named as pasteurization.

This process is used to preserve milk.

Processes used to pasteurize food :-

• First the milk is heated at about 70° for 15 to 30 seconds to kill most of the bacteria present in it.

• Next, this hot milk is cooled very quickly to a low temperature to prevent any remaining bacteria from going further. And then this milk is stored in the refrigerator.

Answer:

Pasteurization or pasteurisation is a process in which packaged and non-packaged foods (such as milk and fruit juice) are treated with mild heat, usually to less than 100 °C (212 °F), to eliminate pathogens and extend shelf life. ... Spoilage enzymes are also inactivated during pasteurization.
