patriarchy is a social system in which male hold primary power and predominate in roles of political leadership, moral authority ,social privilege ,and control of property on the other hand matriarchy is a social system in which female hold the primary power positions in roles of political leadership ,moral authority, social privilege and control of property at the specific exclusion of males.
