A positive integer that is equal to the sum of its proper divisor . the smallest perfect no. is 6 which is the sum of 1, 2, 3 . other perfect nos. are 28 ,496.

is a positive integer that is equals to the sum of it's proper positive divisors that is, the sum of its positive divisors excluding the number itself.

★ for example ★

The factors of 28 are 1, 2, 4, 7, 14 and 28.
1 + 2 + 4 + 7 + 14 = 28.

similarly, The factors of 6 are 1, 2, 3 and 6.
1 + 2 + 3 = 6.
