Explanation:

Pollination is the process of transfer of pollen grains to the stigma of same or another flower of same different species

There are two types of pollination:-

1. Self Pollination

2.Cross Pollination

The pollen grains when reaches stigma, it starts swelling up,by taking nutritions and nourishment from stigma. It led to the formation of pollen tube. Pollen tube contains

male nuclei, which fuses with the ovule resulting in the formation of embryo. Later, it under goes cell division and becomes zygote, which later results in the formation of the fruit( end product of fertilisation).

Hence, suitable Pollination leads to fertilisation.
