Following are the measures as an individual we would take to reduce environmental pollution:
- We can plant more and more trees.
- We can use renewable energy sources such as compressed natural gas (CNG) and bio fuels.
- We can reduce use of fossil fuels.
- We can avoid firing crackers on Diwali.
- We can use two kinds of dustbin for the segregation of waste.
- We can reduce the use of plastic and polythene bags and promote using of paper or cloth bags.
- We can avoid throwing garbage near water bodies.
