Power= the rate at which electric energy is used in an electric circuit .

This means that the 15 watts is the energy which is delivered by the current

Energy consumed = power × time
=15 W×10 min
=150 W min

Power is the rate of doing work per time unit

Deriving it's SI unit

work/time.

joules/second=watt

this means that the bulb consumes 15 joules of energy in a second

now ATQ

POWER=15

TIME=60sec

work=?

as we know

power = work /time

so work = 15×60

work done = 900 joules
