The preamble is the primary resolution that explains the objectives of the 'constitution', the source of 'authority of the constitution', 'nature of Indian state' and so on.
EXPLANATION:
The preamble is the preface or introduction of the constitution which explains the summary or brief of the constitution. In the Indian context, the preamble is one part of the constitution which is evolved from objective resolution, it is drafted by "Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru".
Later it is accepted by the constituent assembly, it was amended by the once in 1976 through the "42nd Amendment Act". The preamble clarifies the many ambiguous statements in the constitution.
