Random errors are irregular error whose source is unknown whereas systematic errors are the errors occur due to system and the source of the error is known...

If we swing pendulum and calculate the value of g using relation

T = 2 Pie root ( l /g ) , everytime we get different value of g...

When we take the difference of observed value with actual value of g , we get different error , so the error the random and irregular...

Source of the error is not known here...

Systematic errors occur due to the system...System consists of a person , Building , instruments , wrong observation and recording etc..

If we use faulty instrument the we get always an error...For example if we use a watch which is one second late...Then it will show time one second late all the time...Everytime we get an error of one second , so the errors are regular...

Both errors can be corrected or reduced...

Systematic errors can be corrected using good instrument instead of using faulty instruments...Whereas random error can be corrected by taking the mean or average of all the errors together...

This may be too long...for further details please refer good books for the same...Hope this help..
