\huge\mathcal\blue{In\:mathematics,}

a rational number is a number that can be expressed as the quotient or fraction p/q of two integers, a numerator p and a non-zero denominator q. Since q may be equal to 1, every integer is a rational number.

FOR EXAMPLE - 3/4, 5/7, etc.

Hope it helps you........

A number in the form p/q where p and q are integers and q not equal to zero is called a rational number. There are infinite rational numbers between any 2 numbers.

For example, 1/4, 5/1 etc.
