Answer:

A laser beam, the beam of torch, beams of sunlight/light. Usually 'ray' is a narrow beam of light, whereas 'beam' is a line of light that shines from a bright object, so the words (as nouns) are practically synonyms withdifferences in size. - We could just pic out the pack in the weak beam of the torch. 3.9.

Ray:

A ray os a beam or narrow strip of light and sometimes heat that passes through a small hole. A ray can also be defined as an electromagnetic radiation that passes from one point to another in a straight line.

Beam:

A beam is where light or any electromagnetic wave passes through a hole, but after passing through the hole the light disperses into different angles creating a slight projection of light.

Both ray and beams are lights that pass through a hole, but a ray is a narrow strip of light, while a beam is light that has dispersed in different angles.
