REFLEX ARC

The pathway taken by nerve impulses in a reflex action is called reflex arc.

OR

BRAIN

Three major regions of brain are :-

a) Forebrain :-

It is the largest and main thinking part of the brain. It receive sensory impulses from various receptors.

b) Midbrain :-

It connects forebrain to the hindbrain. It control the movement of head, neck and trunk to locate sounds and visual reflexes that are involved in focusing on the objects. It also control reflex movements of eye muscles, pupil size etc.

c) Hindbrain :-

It provides connection between spinal cord and rest of the brain.

One function of human brain is :-

It correlates the various stimulus from different sense organs and produces appropriate response.
