Heya☺
When light rays travel from one medium to another , it is known as refraction of light.
Laws of refraction of light
1. The incident ray, refracted ray and the normal to the interface of two transparent media at the point of incidence , all lie in same plane
2. The ratio of sine of angle of incidence to the sine of angle of refraction is constant ( Snell's law)
.✌✌

The change of direction of light because of change of medium is known as a Refraction of Light. As a simple word it is known as "refraction" also.
The law of refraction which is generally known as snell's law, governs the behaviour of light-rays as they propagate across a sharp interface between to transparent the dielectric media.
(Other part you can easily get at internet)
Thank You...I hope it was useful...
