Rotational motion is motion which follows a curved path.
Ex: If a rigid body is moved in such a way such that all the particles constituting it undergo circular motion about a common axis then that type of motion is rotational motion.
(or)
A rigid body moves in rotational motion if every point of the body moves in a circular path with a common axis.
Hope this helps!

Hi
Here Is Your Answer
rotational motion is a motion which follows a curved path. This is in stark contrast with linear motion, which follows straight path . linear motion is generally ones first introduction into the physics of motion .........linear motion is primarily concerned with displacement ,velocity, acceleration ,momentum and force
