SCALAR QUANTITY:

The physical quantity that has only magnitude but no direction is called Scalar quantity.

Examples are mass,electric charge etc.

VECTOR QUANTITY:

The physical quantity which has both magnitude and direction is called Vector quantity

Examples are force,displacement etc.
