scalar has magnitude but dont have same direction where as vector has magnitude and also has same direction...

Scalar quantity:Scalar is that quantity which can be fully described by magnitude ( or numerical values ) alone..Ex=temperature etc..
Vector quantity: Vector is that quantity which can be described by both magnitude and direction..Ex=velocity etc..
