SCALER QUANTITY : Scaler quantities are the quantities which requires only magnitude.

Example:: Speed , length

VECTOR QUANTITY : Vector quantities are the quantities which requires both magnitude and direction.

Example:: Velocity , acceleration.

Scalar quantity : those physical quantity or those vector which have only the magnitude but doesn't have any direction. e.g. Speed, distance.
Vector quantity : those vector or physical quantity which have both direction and magnitude. e. g. Velocity, Displacement.
