Sedimentation

Settling down of insoluble solids from the liquid mixture is called Sedimentation. Ex : Mud Settles from muddy water .

Decantation

Pouring out of upper clear layer of liquid into other containers to separate 2 liquids .

Filtration

It is a process of removing or filtering the insoluble particles from the solution. Ex : filtering mud from muddy water.
