SOCIAL FORESTRY:
Social forestry is an initiative taken by forest department of India where the persons involved initiate to stop deforestation. They legally ban the deforestation in several ways.
They also try to covert barren lands and infertile lands into forest areas in India. These people are mostly seen in Northwestern states. It conserves natural resources too. This is a very democratic approach by the forest department. Social forestry had already started its industry for a long time.
