Out of these, Lok Sabha is powerful due to the following reasons:
i) Money Bill can be tabled only in the Lok Sabha. Thus, it controls the finances of the government.
ii) A government can continue in power only as long as it enjoys the confidence of the Lok Sabha.
iii) The Rajya Sabha may suggest changes to ordinary bills. However, in case of a deadlock between the two houses, a joint sitting takes place in which the will of the lower house usually prevails due to its numerical superiority
