USDA soil taxonomy (ST) developed by United States Department of Agriculture and the National Cooperative Soil Survey provides an elaborate classification of soil types according to several parameters (most commonly their properties) and in several levels: Order, Suborder, Great Group, Subgroup, Family, and Series.

soil taxonomy is the classification of soil based on different factors

Basically soils are classified basrd on their characteristics and properties

Soil taxonomy in short is the classification of soil into clay soil, sandy soil, loam soil and alluvial soil

Sandy soil has rough coarse , large grained with high drainage

Clay soil has a fine texture, it is the best in capilarity

Loam soil is black in color, a combination of clay and sand

Alluvial soil is found majorly in the plains ,it is the most fertile soil as it comes from rocks
