the combination of solute and solvent is known as solution
the component that present in the solution in a larger amount is called solvent
the company that present in the solution in a lesser amount is called solute
the effect Which is seen in a colloidal solutions that seems to be homogeneous but it is heterogeneous... example milk ...shows Tyndall effect.

solution is a homogeneous mixture of 2 or more substances..
solvent is that substance which is present in more quantity in a solution..
solute is that substance which is present in lesser amount in a solution...
Tyndall effect is the scattering of light by colloidal solution or particles due to which the path of beam becomes visible... eg when light falls in a dusty room..... or when light falls in a dence forest....
