Angle of Dip, also known magnetic dip or magnetic Inclination is the angle made by the Earth’s magnetic field lines with the horizontal.when we are at poles the magnetic field lines are perpendicular so angle of dip is 90 degree while at the equatorial position the magnetic field lines are parallel to the earth surface and its angle with the horizontal will be 0 degree.
