Endoplasmic reticulum is a cell organelle. It is a network of membrane bound tubes and sheets. It looks like long tubules and oblong vesicles. It's main function is to transport. There are two types- smooth endoplasmic reticulum (SER) and rough endoplasmic reticulum (RER)  . RER has ribosomes attached to it. Golgi bodies is again cell organelle. It was discovered by Camillo Golgi. So it got its name. It is a system of membrane bound vesicles that are stacked parallel to each other which are called cisterns. It is usually found near endoplasmic reticulum. It's main function is to package and dispatch various products from the ER
