Aɴsᴡᴇʀ:

1. Analytical Chemistry -

The chemistry which deals with experimental study by qualitative analysis i.e., identification of unknown substances by chemical test and experiment study by quantitative means.

2. Stoichiometry -

The relative proportions of reactants and products in a chemical reaction and of elements in a compound.

3. Electrometallurgy -

Extraction of metals - by electrolysis is electrometallurgy.

4. Amalgam -

An amalgam is an alloy in which the base metal is mercury eg. sodium or zinc amalgam.

5. Alloy -

It is a mixture generally of two or more metals fuse together in the molten state in a fixed proportion eg. brass, bronze, duralumin, solder etc

Hey Friend!

Analytical Chemistry:  This branch of science studies and uses instruments and methods used to separate, identify, and quantify matter. In practice, separation, identification or quantification may constitute the entire analysis or be combined with another method. Separation isolates analytes.

Stoichiometry:  Stoichiometry is the calculation of reactants and products in chemical reactions. Stoichiometry is founded on the law of conservation of mass where the total mass of the reactants equals the total mass.

Electrometallurgy:  Electrometallurgy is a method that uses electrical energy to produce metals by electrolysis. Electrometallurgy is usually the last stage in metal production and is therefore preceded by pyrometallurgical or hydrometallurgical operations.

Amalgam:  An amalgam is an alloy of mercury with another metal. It may be a liquid, a soft paste or a solid, depending upon the proportion of mercury.

Alloy:  An alloy is a combination of metals or metals combined with one or more other elements. For example, combining the metallic elements gold and copper produces red gold, gold and silver becomes white gold, and silver combined with copper produces sterling silver.
