COUNCIL OF MINISTERS:

● Council of Ministers is the body that advises the President on various matters and is formed to assist the Prime Minister in running Government. It's a constitutional body that comprises of around 40-60 ministers.


MANDAL COMMISSION

● The Government of India has appointed the second backward classes commission in 1979. It was headed by BP Mandal. Hence it was popularly called Mandal Commission. It stated that 27% of government jobs should be reserved for the socially and educationally backward classes.


ELECTORAL COLLEGE
