Define

.Latitude :- the distance of a place north or south of the line that we imagine around the middle of the earth (the equator).

.Longitude :- the distance of a place east or west of a line from the North Pole to the South Pole that passes through Greenwich in London. Longitude is measured in degrees

.Meridian:- a line that we imagine on the surface of the earth that joins the North Pole to the South Pole and passes through a particular place.

.Prime Meridian:- a planet's meridian adopted as the zero of longitude.

.Local Time:- the time based on the meridian through a specific place, as a city, in contrast to that of the time zone within which the place is located; the time in a specific place as compared to that of another place to the east or west

.Standard Time:- a uniform time for places in approximately the same longitude, established in a country or region by law or custom.

.Indian Standard Time:- Indian Standard time (IST) is the time zone observed throughout India, with a time offset of UTC+05:30. India does not observe daylight saving time or other seasonal adjustments. In military and aviation time IST is designated E* ("Echo-Star").

.Greenwich Mean Time:- Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) is the time measured on the Earth's zero degree line of longitude, or meridian. This runs from the North Pole to the South Pole, passing through the Old Royal Observatory in the London suburb of Greenwich.

.International Date Line:- The International Date Line serves as the "line of demarcation" between two consecutive calendar dates. The International Date Line, established in 1884, passes through the mid-Pacific Ocean and roughly follows a 180 degrees longitude north-south line on the Earth.

.Great Circle:- a circle on the surface of a sphere which lies in a plane passing through the sphere's centre. As it represents the shortest distance between any two points on a sphere, a great circle of the earth is the preferred route taken by a ship or aircraft.

11. Small Circle:- a circle on the surface of a sphere whose plane does not pass through the sphere's centre.

.Grid:- a pattern of straight lines that cross each other to form squares
